About Stephanie
Dr. Stephanie White is a clinician and psychopathologist with more than 24 years of experience. Her work centers on comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnostic clarity, and evidence-based treatment for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and neurodevelopmental concerns.
She brings the same thorough, evidence-based approach to emotional support animal evaluations, assessing each person's circumstances individually rather than issuing documentation automatically.
I treat every evaluation as an individual clinical question, not a formality, and I make my recommendation only when the evidence supports it.

Frequently asked questions
View all FAQs →Is Dr. White licensed to practice in my state?
Dr. White is licensed to provide telehealth evaluations in the states listed on this page. If your state is not on that list, she cannot conduct your evaluation.
Will Dr. White automatically approve my ESA request?
No. Completing the intake does not produce a letter. Dr. White reviews your information and makes her own clinical judgment, and documentation is issued only when she concludes that an emotional support animal is clinically appropriate for you.
Do I need an existing mental health diagnosis?
No. The evaluation considers your current symptoms and circumstances, whether or not you already have a diagnosis. A prior diagnosis is not required in order to be assessed.
How long does the evaluation take?
It depends on your individual case, including whether a follow-up is needed. The intake questionnaire itself takes about five minutes to complete.
Is this an online questionnaire?
No. The questionnaire is intake information, not the evaluation. A licensed clinician reviews it and forms an independent clinical judgment before any documentation is issued.
What happens after my evaluation?
If Dr. White determines that an emotional support animal is clinically appropriate, your documentation is provided through your secure account. If it is not appropriate, no letter is issued, and our money-back guarantee applies under our refund policy.
Can my landlord contact my clinician?
A landlord may contact the signing provider to confirm that a letter is genuine, but your diagnosis and clinical detail are never shared with your landlord.
Can I choose Dr. White for my evaluation?
You may be matched with a clinician licensed in your state of residence. Whether Dr. White is available to you depends on where you live.
